How safe did you feel traveling to Playa Escondida?

As you all know, security is a big issue nowadays in travel planning and, in particular, travel to Mexico has been a concern for many of you. We hope you, as guests with first hand knowledge, will share your experience, how you felt starting from the moment you arrived at the Puerto Vallarta airport, in order to give others who are considering a visit to Playa Escondida a better idea of what to expect and how it may contrast with what the media in general has depicted.
